Our garden is closed for the winter, we look forward to it reopening in Spring/Summer 2024.
We operate 2 sittings per service; tables booked before 1.00pm for lunch or 6.45pm for dinner will be for a 2-hour period, and the table will be required for other diners immediately after this.
Our standard tables accommodate up to 8 diners, for parties larger than this you can make a booking by calling us on 01277 841137.
The Hoop is a small, listed building; unfortunately this means we do not have space to accommodate prams indoors. We suggest the use of carriers instead.

Our floor space in the Hoop is very limited and due to our health and safety policy update we are unable to accommodate buggies inside the Hoop, we can however allow carseats if they are placed safely on a seat.
Never fear though! We know what it’s like to have young children and that quite often your buggy is your lifeline, also if you are walking to us they are a real necessity. Therefore we have an undercover area outside available for buggies, our team will help you with anything you need so please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

We strongly recommend booking in advance, this can be done using the reservations diary below.
When creating a booking, you will be asked to enter card details; these are only taken to secure your reservation, no deposit will be taken, however your card may be charged in line with our cancellation terms (see below).
We have a small number of dog-friendly tables available, and these must be booked under the dog friendly area tables only and you must add in comments how many dogs you are bringing. We do not allow dogs in restaurant upstairs on downstairs bar when booking.
High-chairs are available for your booking, please include a note in the booking comments if you require one.
We are happy to accommodate any special occasions, please include details in your reservation’s booking notes.
We regret that we cannot guarantee any specific table requests; this will be dependent on availability and your party size.

Important information regarding garden bookings.
All garden bookings are only weather dependent.
We may have to cancel garden bookings if weather is bad and unsuitable for staff working conditions
No garden bookings are transferable to inside (we will do our best but is not guaranteed).
Dogs are welcome in hoop garden please bring your own dog bowl and we happy to supply lots of water.
All garden are bookings for food only.
We do not take bookings for drinkers.
Time allowed on garden tables as booking states.
Please if smoking please ask for ash trays and have consideration for other dinners.

If you complete your booking (including any bank-card checks), you will receive a confirmation email; if this doesn’t arrive (and you have checked junk-mail etc.) please give us a call outside service hours to confirm your booking.
Please be aware that bookings are only finalised once all details and bank-card checks are completed, if you haven’t done so, your booking will not be confirmed.
We understand circumstances can change and you may need to cancel your booking; this can be done easily from your confirmation email.

Booking times are carefully staggered in order to ensure the best possible service for all customers. For this reason it is incredibly important that you and your guests arrive on time; we are only able to hold tables for 15-minutes from the time of booking.
While we would love to welcome your party for pre-dinner drinks, the size of our venue makes this difficult, and space cannot be guaranteed; therefore, we recommend arriving no more than 15-minutes prior to your booking time.

If you have any issues on the day of your booking (for example you are running late) please give us a call on 01277 841137; social media channels and email are not monitored during service.

Cancellations can be made up-to 24-hours in advance of your booking via a link in your confirmation email, without charge.
For short-notice cancellations (those under 24-hours) please phone us on 01277 841137.
We reserve the right to charge £20/head for late-notice cancellations, however we will waive this if we are able to re-sell your table, therefore we ask that you phone us as early as possible to increase the chances of this happening.
We charge all no-shows £20/head and may also opt to block future bookings in repeat cases.

We have 3 tables downstairs at the hoop in the pub area that we allow dogs.
Please request a dog friendly table when making a booking on line or on the phone.
If no dog friendly tables are available on line them please call and speak to one of the hoop team.
Please put in commentshow many dogs will be joining you as the hoop is very small inside.
Our upstairs restaurant is not Dog friendly sorry.
Our gaden is all dog frendly.
